Chino airshow(California,USA)

I was wondering if anyone else here went to that airshow at Chino Airport a couple of weeks ago?

For those who missed it, I cannot recommend enough that you go next year!

It was by far the largest number of flying warbirds I've ever seen before, including many I've never seen airborne live, such as a Spitfire, Seafire, and 3 Sea Furys.

My favorite was 10 P-51 Mustangs all flying together all at once! I've never seen more than 4 in the past.

Even more impresive, at one point, in the air, all at one time- there was from what I counted,
2 Mitchells, 2 Sea Furys, 2 P-38s, 1 P-47, 1 Spitfire, 1 Sea fury, 1 Bearcat, 2 Hellcats, 1 Avenger, 7 P-51s, 1 Zero, 3 Corsairs, 1 P-40, and probably some I'm forgeting.

If you love WWII planes...this is a must see event!:jump:

yes, I know this airshow, I've heard about it..... but it's a little far for me!:jump:

I'll try to go to Duxford, I've never been. This year it will not be possible but maybe next year?

Air show

Ive been several times in the past Crow, but didnt make this years event. I wanted to because of the new 3 airship P-51 aerobatic team that was supposed to perform. Did you get to see them? I would also recommened a trip through the Planes of Fame museum to see the rest of the collection at Chino. The great thing about it the place is that a good many of the A/C do fly on a regular basis, but even the static displays are first rate. Google the Plaqnes of Fame museum for a look at their website.

P.S. I live 12 miles from the place, so I get to see them over my house occasionally. :wiggle:
