    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just Flight - CM 2017
Hi all,

We have just released the Chipmunk: http://www.justflight.com/product/dhc1-chipmunk

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback (positive and negative) on the in-development screenshots that were posted a few weeks ago. We made extensive improvements to the aircraft as a result of that feedback, and hopefully you will be pleased with the end results. Following numerous requests for the Canadian 'bubble' canopy variant we have created that model too, with its many cockpit and exterior differences (which are listed in the PDF manual addendum).

Wouldn't you just know it. I've been checking on this baby every day and when it does come out, I'm taking a d*** nap. I wanted to be first. Oh well, she's mine now:applause:
 
A very happy customer - feels great to finally have some FSX-native Chipmunks, and that are as detailed as these models. Just a couple quick screenshots:



 
Can't wait until I get home and buy this, as am at the Museum today and just about to sample the real thing again. Flew the Prentice yesterday and now today the Chippie. From one extreme to the other!

To make matters worse, it's our staff social evening tonight, but the minute I do get home, will be exercising the plastic and trying her out before off to bed!

Sincerely hope that a paint kit will be issued as we would love to paint it into ours and then all the others myself and others on here have flown in the past.

I just took a quick spin around the new FTX Squamish. Brilliant, simply brilliant. Thank you JF. It would be fun to own a real Chipmunk.
