Christmas Presents?

I woke up this morning. That's a present every day. :jump:

No, really, all the family is out of town, except my better half and I. We are just enjoying a rare day together, and remembering the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas, All:wavey:

I got my new tripod a week or so ago, plus 200 bucks from my parents today that's going towards my 100-400 lens!

Woooooooo! :jump:

Hmmm...

I got a few very nice informational books and subscriptions to Warbirds and Airchair General. One of those neat little RC helos (the cheap ones, but all the same because I can't fly any of them and this one seems to fly real well). A couple of games (one of which unfortunately does not run and is bargainware), some candy and lots of clothes.

I certainly cannot complain.

Those little RC choppers are pretty cool once you get used to how to fly them!
Needless to say our dogs figured out that they should leave the room during flight training :icon_lol:

I thought this thread was about odd presents? I'd just like to make it clear for those that might have missed this point, I wasn't boasting about my Cheese Mill. :d

Well....i got a Star Wars Battle pack, Hoth Speeder Bike Patrol with 2 scout bikers and speeders....with a note saying."sorry, it took 26 yrs..we just found your Santa letter from 1983, Love..Mom and Dad"...true story..

It's not unusual for this group, but to most other people a flightsim product is. Mine is the pmdg 747-400x Queen of the Skies. Lot's of reading to do for getting it from cold and dark to flying.:jump:

Got a tiny remote controlled Davinci ornithopter, which I am rubbish at flying, but I plan to improve. :)
