Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

The new PA 31 has been launched over at X-Plane , any suggestions how we convince this
developer to come over too MSFS 2020 ..... we badly need a Chieftain !!

Cheers

Email? What's the worst that could happen - he says no?

I could be wrong, but as I understand it, developing planes for X-Plane is a completely different animal from FS, or even P3D since it was originally spun off from FSX.

According to the Flysimware Discord site, their next project after they finish their Lancaire Legacy will be a Navajo Chieftain. They already have access to a real one for modelling purposes.

Since you posted in the 2020 forum, I assume you're looking for a 2020 version and, unfortunately, theirs will be 2024 native. But it will be there if you're interested in the plane.

I have both 2020 and 2024, but I fly in VR and much prefer 2020 for that environment, but will use 2024 if necessary.
