• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Civil Ships

Gator Navy...blew right past those! Gator=Japanese :costumes: Just kidding around, good stuff ShadowWulf and PSULLYKEYS.
 
VN's "gator navy" freighters is the way to go. There is enough detail to look "OK" and by adjusting there gunnery dp's they can become any nationality one desires. :typing: One other ship I would use is CG's British Tanker she is a good generic tanker.:Banane09:

Here's a short video to emphasize the point made. I loaded up a PBY-5A with 2 Mk-13 torpedoes and attacked one of the liberty ships Maskrider put in his Henderson scenery. Two hits amidships and no sinker! I wish some of the folks putting out scenery with shipa already in it would take heed:

Also, Pen32win mentioned aircraft. Often it is up to the user to create his own mdlnames entry for downloaded planes... If it is different than that used by the author of the scenery or mission, the scenery/mission will give the user error messages​
