There's been a recent update to this lovely model and it's a thoroughly enjoyable product with a surprising level of depth of systems.

I have two remaining issues with this model that I'm curious if anyone's noted and knows how to fix:

1) VSI - nowhere on the HUD do I see VS indicated. I see both baro and radar altitudes, but not climb/descent rate. Anyone know if there's a HUD mode or other setting that can display that? Pretty important for any aviating, especially carrier ops on the M version.

2) exterior texture colour - it's bordering on black instead of the low vis grey it should be, and indeed from some videos I've seen - it appears to be. I've not made any weird setting change to either the sim or the monitor to display colours differently - and other period aircraft (F/A-18 Super Hornet, Eurofighter Typhoon, etc.) all appear in what I think are correct low vis hues.

Anyone have any ideas, especially on 1)?

thx,

dl

I kinda like this one, freeware, but brilliant:

I actually think the VC is better than the payware one.

Thanks all.

I'm aware of the recent freeware version, which has it's own advantages - but for overall systems depth, I prefer the CJ - hence the thread subject.

Thoughts on the VSI in particular are much appreciated.
