Claims rejected and captured to boot.

Hiccup any chance you can post a sample of one of the 15 rejected? I am 5 out of 6 1 out 15 seems rough. and yes enter your flight mates as witnesses no matter what , pretend you flew over the crash with them !

He's posted samples by way of his logbook-screenie above. :)

Geez , so little written I thought it was the log book section not claims.

Hiccup , you need to write what I mentioned in my post:

Location
altitude
color of enemy
description of fight
ammunition expenditure

etc.

Hey Dave. Don't be daunted. Under the workshop tab on the main screen you can make kill claims easier or set it to just automatically give you every kill you get.

And while Mk2 certainly has mad typing skills, you don't need to write a book to get confimations. I regularly get in the 70's for my pending score just by writing two sentences like:"Engaged enemy a/c flight at 4000 feet. After chasing them to the deck, one was seen to crash out of control after firing 100 rounds into it." I get most of my kills confirmed this way.

Party on.

RR

(dubbed over spoken Japanese) "Curse you Winder. I see your typing skills are as fast as Mk2. You have beaten me this time, but I shall return!"
Thanks Rick did what you said and now have my first confirmed kill :applause:

I received credit by putting in the aircraft line what plane it was and saying it was shot down. I then put my wingman as witness.

Thanks Guys, I suppose I need to be a better writer. Lets not forget thet the "Pen is mightier then the Vickers!! or Lewis!!" :amen:

By the way GimpyGuy, if you look at the log I posted not only are these kills in campaine but also at Realism of 110%, so I do believe I am playing with the big boys :ernae:

Thanks to MK2's advice, my results have gotten better. Now my claim percentage is in the mid 70's for kills on friendly side of the lines. I've had 3 kills confirmed so far, but only on missions with 1 kill. Multi kill mssions have been rejected so far. Other coments regarding claims, the ingame map is a bear for reading city names and does not appear to list Airstrip names so ... kind of tough to expect that info in a claim report. Not to mention, the names of your flight members and wingmen are tough to read too.

But, as I've said before I love the combat. In a Pup I had a D3 blow to pieces after a long burst with a leading shot. The plane exploded so bad, pieces of the wings flew into my wings and crippled one wing and stalled the engine. A field nearby was a lucky landing spot. Loved it.

Dauntless like Pov made my day on the CMH medal thread you just made my night.

Glad I could help.

And the fact really is that the Claim system is so brilliant I just want to get the word out.
Pov and Win might not even know just how epic this claim system is for a combat flight sim....it is revolutionary , seriously , all combat flight sims (any war) that come after, will lack if they do not incorporate this. They might have ruined my combat sim experience forever actually.

POV, WIN, let me know if you want to do something similar for Storm of War, Oleg has to see life after DGEN. I'll email him, heck I'll sponsor the cost.

When you have the ingame map up, drag your mouse cursor over the airstrip you want to know the name of and it should say. I dont know if this works for everyone though, In an MP game I tried to explain this feature but the other players said it didnt work for them. But it's worth a try.

It works for me and that is how i am able to know where the kill went down etc North of Souilly, West of Verdun ...that sort of thing.

On the subject of unconfirmed kills, from The Blue Max:

Bruno Shtackel: "I don't suppose you've ever had a kill go unconfirmed."

Willie Von Klugermann: "Oh, but I have. Three."

Bruno: "So, you really have twenty three kills."

Willie: "No. Twenty."

Looking at all the paperwork involved, I doubt I'll ever have a confirmed kill. :faint:

Working around the house today; hope to load OFF/BHAH into the computer tonight.

Prost! :ernae:
