Classics Hangar Fw190D-Ta152H Released

Great! As for the paintkit, is it possible to include weathering, exhaust stains and a layered camo scheme? This will make for a very good start for us repainters! Thank you

Jens-Ole,

I just had a quick look at the paintkit, but it contains several layers with basic weathering.

Cheers,
Huub

Hello Mathias,

It really is a beautiful plane, and one of my favourites. Thank you so much for all your work! I have one question. Since there does not seem to be a rudder trim (am I correct? I only flew the D-9 so far) and the brakes are very weak, I have great difficulty controlling the aircraft during take-off. I have to be more careful with the throttle than in an Me-262 until I can lift the tail and the rudder is in the airstream. Were the brakes really that weak?

Work of art! Thank you! I particular like "White 11", really shows how modular (or Frankenstein) the Dora was with Anton fuselage, prefabricated and painted engine compartment and maybe a random wing set.. Really strange that this bastard looks so good!

Hey stickshaker,

don't go higher than 3000rpm initially until you gain rudder authority at about 120 kph and use differential brakes.
Again, go higher than 3000 rpm and you'll get kicked off the runway.

Before we all start to do the same repiants...... I started on this one.

As you can see still a very long way to go.

Returning satisfied customer but wondering when Simmarket gets it. Being able to go to them and easily download any purchases I ever made makes reinstall painless and worth the extra $$.
Looks like a real beast to handle and I cannot wait to fight it.:adoration:

Early in the new year, JIMJAM, but if permanent access is your decision factor you can as well order in the Classics Hangar Shop because our downloads do not expire.
If you ever reach the 10 downloads limits just howl and we reset the counter.

Hello Mathias,
Indeed, I can throttle up more than I thought initially. 3000 rpm is still a but much for me but i'll get there. She is a joy to fly!

Thanks Mathias for the helping me out getting logged back in so I could buy this wonderful aircraft.Do you ever sleep? It was what, after 1 am here in SC east coast:dizzy: Got in a few quick flights and its a smooooooth flyer.Climbs like a b.o.o.h. also.

A nice one Jan Kees.

I'm afraid I ran into some serious problems. My humble PCis not able to handle the layered 4096 x 4096 textures, so I tried to convert them into 2048 x 2048. However no luck as this it exceed the capability from my PC as well.

Now I have reduced the canvas size layer-by-layer.......

So I'm afraid my repaint will only be available in 2048 x 2048 resolution, once finished.

Cheers,
Huub

BTW when you need inspiration, there is a nice example on page 79 from the book you gave me for Christmas.... :biggrin-new: :biggrin-new: :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
