Classics Hangar Klemm L 25 Developement

Thank you kindly, guys!
John, yes, that's the fuel transfer pump.
300 strokes to transfer 20 liters of fuel from the wing tanks to the main tank.
Elly Beinhorn flew from Berlin to Marokko with a 20 hp version of this aircraft.
She must have had biceps like a Gorilla when she returned home. :)

Placards are in.
Some little fittings TBD and we're ready to polish the textures.
Please ignore the AO artefact behind the slipball, that'll get fixed.

Cockpit geometry is complete, save for a bit of cleanup and fixing to do here and there.
Textures are about to receive final touches.
One thing of note: Ambient occlusion so far is temporary, that'll get done in a render pass in Max once everything else is said and done.
With the proper AO-layers in you'll notice a considerable improvement in lighting and depth.

Great work Mathias !! Need a Classics Hanger airfield to fly it from !

On another note, found this pic, taken quite a while ago, lolmat.jpg

Nice to see you too Mathias, yes its been a very long time since we talked. Glad to see you working on models again, you do such great work. We lost a good friend earlier this year, Ted Miller, crossram, passed away. Sure miss him too.

Need to get my Win 10 pc fixed, so when this plane comes out, I can giver her a try! I'm still looking for that Bang Gang picture you sent me a long time ago, just not sure where it is,lol

This type of aircraft isn't one Id typically be interested in, but I would definitely buy this just to admire your craftsmanship and support your work. Amazing job!

So guys,
at the risk of making you sick of the Klemm, here are the last teasers of the D-EJOL cockpit.
I redid the leather of the cockpit surround, and if you look closely, you'll see a few dozen nails hammered into the wood.
I'll keep fiddling around with the patina and weathering a bit, otherwise it's time now to move on to other production segments.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Since I don't know how to put sound into a picture, here is a short and absolutely unspectacular and unedited video with some Hirth 4-stroke music.
Please forgive the botched looping at the beginning.
Later you can see the pneumatic fuel measurement and the manual fuel pump in action. Mind you 150 strokes to move 10 liters/roundabout 2 gallons from the wing tanks to the main tank.
Sounds recorded from the Klemm Kl 25 d VII R2 D-EJOL with Hirth HM 60 R2 82hp aircooled inline engine.
400MB warning, so don't use your mobile phone to stream this one. :)
