Most pilots are approaching Salta by now. Nevertheless I wanted to share some interesting Google Earth overlays that I just saw and find useful for planning the flights through the mountains.
http://www.mgmaps.com/kml/
Allows to overlay maps and terrain reprasentation from Google maps, Windows maps, Yahoo maps and Openstreet maps over the Google earth terrain.
Google maps terrain representation has elevation contour lines, which makes determination of altitudes easier.
The roads of Yahoo or Windows maps may better correspond to the roads in FS than those in GE/Plan-G, for pilotage.
http://bernhard.sterzbach.de/geflood.html
Allows to flood the GE terrain to a specified altitude. Nifty for identifying those mountain passes to slip through.
I've also attached a kml file with airports of the CCAA event. Airport data from Ian Niblo's fsxge.zip.

Cool, thanks Gunter!
