Now figure, if you have a white, huge sheet of material and a wide screen projector, you could have that as the front view area, slightly wrapped around you, and have a second monitor in your pit. Make it out of plywood and paint it up...

I managed to get an hour of stick time in an A-10 simulator - I had a blast!
 
Nah Bill! You want 3 HD video projectors using that Matrox thingamajig.... then get 3 screens in nice wraparound!

I managed to get an hour of stick time in an A-10 simulator - I had a blast!

Panther, in the early 1980's I did the basic design work for the "Flight Safety" Gulfstream Turbo Commanders flight simulators for the twin engined turbo props on six degree of freedom platforms. They were fun to fly, but our graphics at that time was a bit more primitive than I have now on my computer. I can believe you had a blast, but you really have not had the ultimate blast, blind flying in a Linktrainer on a nice hot summer day in a non-climate controlled environment. That is when you lose pounds!!!!!:woot:
