Thank you! But I hope others will enjoy these repaints as well :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub

Oh I'm sure Huub, serial numbers are correct for the squadrons BTW, ie both were allocated to those particular squadrons... markings are based upon custom and practice of the time.

Hi Pete,

Haha, for once I thought well let me do this according the proper forum code and use the userid instead of the real name.....

Cheers,
Huub

Not mine, but a repaint for the FSX version by Jan Kees Blom, which I reduced in size....

K3215 is better known today as G-AHSA aka "the last Tutor" of Shuttleworth Collection ; here it is while in service with (possibly) 'Q' Flight ; an independant flight parented by 61 OTU at RAF Rednal @ 1943; to assist with making of a film about RAF participation in Greece in 1941

(records show it allocated to 61 OTU at Rednal, 61 OTU did not move to Rednal until 1942)

and.... K8170 ; recorded as being one of 14 Tutors' allocated to 2 Air Gunner School at RAF Dalcross (now Inverness Airport) 1942

It's possible that these Tutors had the 3rd cockpit re-activated complete with Lewis Gun and Scarff ring; same as the later model 626
(all the later Lynx engined RAF Tutors were completed with the 3rd cockpit , but usually flew with it faired over) for Air Gunner training or were used for the Air to Air photography element of the course (all Air Gunners were initially trained in target acquisition using film cameras , only later in the course moving to first, blank ammo, then live ammo on targets)

Either way, here it is painted in the style of the time
