Contrast Adjust on GPS

Hi: is there any way to adjust the contrast on the default GPS? I am using the GPS on a separate monitor and on the "terrain" view it is really washed out...I tried adjusting the monitor, but that must made it darker...Any help appreciated!

I have no answers on that...I was hoping it had been addressed...

I get that too, and I change the milage setting to 35 till I'm close to my destination then I zoom it in to 10 NM...

Not a fix, just what I do...

are you running the enbseries bloom modification? I have found that can washout the GPS map display depending on your settings.

In the FSX settings page , you will see a setting for bloom....

Uncheck that....

Hmmm You have Vista and SP2 or Acceleration??

If so see if DX10 is checked or not too!
