Corsair Birdcage

I have a problem here I don't understand, maybe someone can help.
I downloaded the AH_F4U1_Bird_cfs2 from the archives and when I tried to extract the files it says I need a password. Of course, thinking it wanted my password that is what I typed in. No luck!!

Any ideas on this as to why?

Thanks in advance!!

Okoutlaw,

No secret anymore. Both AH Corsairs had a locking feature.

There were two passwords for the different models. They were...

ah12er

ah31re

I can't remember which password opens which version, so you'll have to guess.

Unless it is from their FREE STUFF pages, it is a donationware aircraft.
If it is an old donationware made freeware, they usually include a readme with a password outside of the install packages.

Let me check my own library and see if my birdcages have an AH one in there.

Be right back.

As I recall, when the DWare planes were made Freeware, some of the installers didn't get changed over. This is probably one of them that was overlooked. This particular Corsair was donated to us by Aeroplane Heaven to help out with the expenses a few years ago. It's now free to members here.

Rami posted the passwords, so anyone who hasn't availed themselves of this great addon, should make a note of them and then download the planes. They are truly wonderful additions to CFS 2.

Found the right one; AH12er
Follow the typing correctly. It just worked on my reload.

Under what author's name will I find the birdcage Corsair ,mentioned above, in the Archives? I looked under Aeroplane Heaven, and donationware, but neither are listed.

Cheers :)

I did a search of the Archives, and got the following message:

Warning: include(/home/worm/public_html/downloads/downloads_search.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/page.php on line 252

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/worm/public_html/downloads/downloads_search.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in [path]/page.php on line 252

That's great mate, thanks very much! :)

I wonder why it doesn't come up using the zip name search?

P.S. I just had a look at the Corsair's actual download page and see it was uploaded by SOH_donationware. I'll bear that in mind when I'm searching for such from now on.

Again thanks p14!
