Is there a way to change the default AI aircraft with military aircraft . Say change the 747 to a C-17 .

Also there is a program thats for military AI MI? or something.

You can install military AI traffic just like you install normal AI traffic.
Take a look at Military AI Works webpage.
Keep in mind that this is FS9 format traffic, it won't work with DirectX10, and if you do not convert the traffic BGL files into FSX format, you'll loose the boats traffic on the oceans.

Yes, you can switch out AI for other planes you have.

Just remember to match their speeds and altitude abilities when switching put and replacing AI planes. Your switch out should work fine as they are both large jets with similar climbouts.

Dont replace a F-16 into the Cessna 172 slot as it will fall out of the sky with the slow cruise flight speed which the AI flight plan will have.
