Couple of shots from AC

Try this 250 GT Lusso, I found it quite nice: https://depositfiles.com/files/j5y8aqdm0

Thanks Ferry, it worked really well!
I think it was the finished version of the one I was running, sounds great, inside and out.
Looks good as well, probably my all time favourite Ferrari road car.

This 250TR was a fail, no sound at all, except for the usual ambient effects. Pretty car but not a keeper.

The 250GTO drives like a shopping trolley but looks good and make the right noises. I'll be sorting out the handling!

I do like this McLaren!

And the current model 911 RS is not too shabby!

The 330P4 looks great and drives well, it just sounds like a Subaru WRX!

But I am getting there!

And then we have this lot!
This Mustang was very good, it even sounds like a small block Ford!

The Charger was truly horrid, it wallowed around the circuit demonstrating understeer..........big time.

The Caddy just hissed around and floated from Point A to Point B, not necessarily in a set order!

But the CSL was just right, however, I'd bet money it has been 'adapted' from another well know source.
Therein lies the problem with open source and largely unsupervised modding, the 'borrowed' mods and the large number of less impressive offerings outweigh the fewer really good efforts, but that seems to be par for the course.
I'll be at the head of the queue with $$$$ in hand for pCARS 2, now they have both Porsche and Ferrari on board, as well as Jaguar and Nissan!
:triumphant:

I'm sure you can link the 250TR sounds to the 250GT, there's likely a tutorial on how to do that somewhere on the net....

Another smokin' Merc:

these files that end with .7z...arent they the 7-zip files?...or what are they?...they download and then a .sms file opens..which comes on my pc as a word file??...90% of the planes id like to have are these and i cant get them.

Here you go Andy, you might like the complete set.
They all drive pretty well.
You can get them via Facebook but the link should take you direct to Depositfiles without the usual aggro.:encouragement:

Try renaming the extension to .zip.
Better still, get hold of WinRAR, it opens everything I've thrown at it.

In Win7, right click on the downloaded file, select 'open with..' and then select '7-zip file manager'; don't forget to tick the box next to 'always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.

when i try to download one of these it opens as shown, but there is no file in my folders to go back to...but i will try this and see if it works.

When I was young (Very Young!) I owned a 1949 MG TC, and this one is a pretty good replica .....except it handles and stops better than the real one!
Other than that it is a delight to us Olde Phartes who struggled to keep the skinny rubber out of the Tram Tracks, replaced the steering rack with one from a 'Humpy' Holden, regularly replaced back axles (I snapped both at once!) as they failed with monotonous regularity and were really chuffed when the weedy little 1280CC engine managed to finally develop enough grunt to hit a genuine 100MPH........much fun!

Rounding out my weekend driving session is the Porsche 959, a really nice 'driver', especially around 'Black Cat County' or a similar outback road. It would be a Porsche Enthusiasts 'Wet Dream' in real life.
