Also, from their website:

Following numerous requests we have decided to continue development of the B-52 project. In addition to the released B-52 BUFF Exterior model the upcoming B-52 Driver will include highly detailed interior, custom sounds and more.

Systemwise it's going to be Express Line product. So it will feature essential aircraft systems, flight instruments and controls, functional radar. Secondary systems (special ops, EW, weapon etc) will be inop, but provide the look and feel of the legendary BUFF. For obvious reasons it's going to be the B-52G (not H) cockpit.

All users of the B-52 BUFF Exterior model will get 10EUR discount on the B-52 Driver.

This is a good news!!!!!!!:wavey:

Still don't know why its "obviously" going to be a G model VC.....?

But it looks good, I see the panel is now light grey which I for one prefer!!

They say it's tough to find a photo of the H model panel. I think the only difference between the G and H is the announciator panel and the throttle restrictors.

But don't quote me, the G model panel they are showing is quite different from the G models (A/R panel, etc) I worked on in the early 60's. They are probably correct.

Bob

It would be nice if they also did a pre-evs G model from the early 60's. The Buff looked great without all those added protubrances. Even an H model from that time period would look great.

....but don't stop there, a little more work and you could have a nice D model although the panels are completely different.

Not being a smart alec, but does it have to do with OPSEC as to why they can't model a current model H? Just thinking out loud. I know there are times we cannot take pics inside our vehicles but figured the current H model has been around long enough that you can find plenty of pics, could be wrong though.

Matt

Disregard, just googled and found plenty of new H model pics on the web. So, maybe Colin might be able to answer.

My best guess would be related to the fact that Captainsim's exterior and Kolin's interior were both in relative states of completion by the time it was conceived to join the two.

Seems good enough to me. I just assumed it wouldn't be too difficult to change a couple of guages or whatever it needs to make it an H versus a G model. Either way, have never been inside the real deal and wouldn't know the difference anyway. Looking forward to her completion though.

Matt

As far as I can remember, the only major differences are to do with the internal arrangement, one variant had a crew bunk, the other variant didn't. The modern H has no tail gunner either.

There's a crew toilet back there too just to one side of the hatch to downstairs :jump:
