Today I downloaded and installed a CV-440 texture for the National Airlines 440 for 1961. The texture was by Mike Stevens. I have all the CalClassicAirliners aircraft listed in the instructions for adding liveries to already installed in FSX, also IAW instructions. The texture in question ("National61") was installed into the CV-440 file IAW instructions. The first time I selected the aircraft after starting FSX I experienced a CTD. Since then I've deleted the texture and config entry, then downloaded and reinstalled the texture and the .cfg entry into the config file. I still experienced a CTD. After deleting the reinstalled texture, I've reinstalled the texture folder, then tried copying the first config entry for a texture I know works in the sim to the bottom of the texture config entries, then changing its number to the last texture in line, changed appropriate entries in the texture entry (i.e., title=National61) and have run FSX again. Still had the CTD. I then changed the name of the texture folder and the config file texture file name as well, and attempted a restart. Still get a CTD. Can anyone tell me what the problem is with this texture?
EDIT: I've discovered this is happening with all the National Airlines aircraft textures that were made by Mr. Stevens - CV-440, DC-6, DC-6B, DC-7, DC-7B. They are causing the sim to lock up, then crash.
