CV-9 USS "Essex" WWII for FSX/P3D

This concept of military operations in FSX - with its prons & cons compared to other sims - has been worked on for a while (from various people with this interest and from various different aspects) :

- Tacpack (for weapons & systems)
- FSX@War theaters (with detailed weapon/target destruction)
- Detailed FSX planes (by FSX developers)
- Enhanced FSX virtual environment (by users or developers)
- AI fighting user

This last ability (AI fighting user : vehicles, boats, statics - even planes to a lesser extend) is "about" to be offered in FSX/P3D community, thus about to conclude this concept of miliatry/combat scenario flying in FSX/P3D, for people interested in such an activity.
It's called FSCAI and will be probably part of FSC RED (or not).
More about FSCAI (C=combat) you may find here : http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/104404-AI-Combat-addon-(FSCaptain-1-8)

To the point of your quoted post - also myself waiting with a great interest for Yoyo's release - I had started developing an interactive combat photoreal Pacific theater based in FSX Mission System. But when I was aware of the existance of FSCAI, stopped to see & figure out how would this evolve and practically be applied.

Anyway, here is a video of fighting IJN ships in my Mission based Pacific theater, though
I expect that with FSCAI, results will be even better (and in Free Flight and Multiplayer also) :

You may also check my fictional Pacific theater over here :

As also more FSCAI (FS RED) videos at the developers Youtube channel, here :

Oh my gosh! This is a great update. Thank you so very much for the information. I did a few different searches earlier for FSX Tac Pack ships and had much different results. I very much look forward to this as it develops.

Getting back on topic .

Any news on the USS Essex Yoyo.

Cheers Chris

I haven't yet reply from Henrik N. (AI Ships...) but maybe any specialist of FX effect will help me solve the one problem in P3D?
Please contact me via PM if You have a liite (just a little) free time : ).

YoYo, you may consider pre-releasing as is, so that giving the chance to someone
with knowledge about effects to give it a shot and maybe resolve this problem for
you, having it on his system. There are probably some people able of doing so here...

(Actually this is a "catch" or "trap"... I just want this in my FSX...:untroubled:. Still stands correct though, I think.)

I havent good info, I did the test Today and found the one bug in new effect. Asked Henrik about it. If he reply me, I'll add the package as soon as possible but not Today, sorry.

3 new screenies of "45 version" + alpha model of incoming "Corsair" of Milviz (WiP).

Sorry for keeping you all waiting, but real life duties came first the past week. And worse the sound effect issue is not my speciality.

On the positive side - Your screenshots are amazing and I really liked the new deck you gave my Saugatuck model. Looks much, much better!!! I have no issues with the package so please go ahead :D

YoYo, thanks for your work to put the package together. I plan to do some Carrier Quals later today. :encouragement:

YoYo, looking forward to putting this creation to work with you on the F-4U beta program. Outstanding tool for testing, vids and pics!

Fantastic work YoYo! This will certainly be a great staging base for all these great WWII carrier planes coming forth. Thanks for such nice work.

Outstanding work! And I like the sound on deck. That's indeed payware quality you share. Thank you for additional sim experiences also in the historic past!!!!:jump: BTW: Does anybody know a good US Navy freeware carrier aircraft to do some exercises, please?
