On this the 80th Anniversary of D-Day :-

The Famous Flyer 9 Bundle consisting of the Douglas C-47D Skytrain and Waco CG-4A glider is available now from the in-sim Marketplace for both PC and Xbox.
Between June 6, 2024 and July 5, 2024, Microsoft will donate 100% of each sale of the Famous Flyer 9 pack to the USO.

A no-brainer given that the money goes to the USO :)

And a nice package too - as a real-life glider pilot I had to give the Waco a go ... it does seem to glide VERY well, as good as a glass-fibre two-seater so not too realistic but great fun. Will have to try a cross-country soaring flight in it!
The Cessna tow plane doesn't have the grunt but go into the menu and select the C-47 tow-plane and all is well.
Also use the Customisation tab to replace the ASXGS serial # with something more appropriate.

Had a cable break shortly after take-off and the tow-plane crashed so something weird happened, but usually it's OK.

There is a UK C47 skin at f.to though it's for the original DC3
