small correction
Avec un peu de couleurs dans ce ciel bien sombre, il faut utilizer des numeros plus veritables...
The codes on US aircraft at this time used "block letters" mostly... (very easy to reproduce) where the nr. 1 is just a quadragular box.. like a capital "I"... Only very early (1920s) flying machines sported numerals in typewriter type fonts...
There are a few sites where you can find proper fonts if you cannot do them from scratch... Really it is a shame that such nice paint jobs as you do are marred by such inaccuracies... kudos on your paints though... very, very nice...
