Without ice, we had a different game here in the south P. it was called "Hookey".
Course we played "Hookey" in order to sneak off and play baseball! :d
Great shot. Some memorable oldies there. I always was a Bruins fan, loved Bobby Orr. Course now I pull for the 'Canes, got to see one of their Stanley Cup playoff games live at the RBC Center a few years back.
One thing you can say about the Hawks is they did have the honor of having - by far and away - the greatest hockey player to ever pick up a stick play on their team for his hast two years. Gretsky would have never scored a goal on this guy and would have had his pocket picked clean and been scored on at will. He won a record eight straight Norris Trophies as the league's best defenceman. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Orr#cite_note-Top100-3He remains the only defenceman to have won the league scoring title with two Art Ross Trophies and holds the record for most points and assists in a single season by a defenceman. He also won three consecutive Hart Trophies as the league's most valuable player. He was a defenceman who led the league in scoring. That's how good he was.
