Damian (aka Windrunner)

Grieved to see that Daiman has passed on. His repaints were top stuff. My deepest condolences to his family.

Sad news indeed. It was wonderful how he took on a paint request for me and did such a fab job. A right good chap. My sincere thoughts go to his family.

Damian has contributed so much over the years in so many ways. He also provided many repaints for our aircraft before ever joining the team in 2005.

His constant striving for improvements in his work and encouragement for improvements on my side helped us to deliver better products with each release and demonstrated his personal dedication to betterment of our hobby. There are many in the broader community who enjoy his artistry and may not know it.

Damian always impressed me with his kind, easy-going nature and tenacity to deliver the best he could. He was looking forward to getting back into his work during a break in his treatments once he regained strength and started feeling better. Unfortunately, upon returning to the hospital, our communications stopped and his health deteriorated.

It is sad to lose one so young, so proud, so giving. My life was enriched by our friendship.

Thanks for adding the photograph Milton!
That is exactly how we should remember Damian.

Ditto to Roger on the photo Milton. Not only his repaints, but Damien supplied our flight sim community with some of the best repaint kits ever done. He will be sorely missed by all.

This is heartbreaking news!

Damian was one of the very nicest people I've met in nearly a decade in FlightSim.

I hope his family has some idea of how many friends he made all over the world through this hobby, and how highly regarded he was.

He was one of the most talented painters in the hobby, and a true gentleman.

He will be sorely missed.

This is very tragic, my condolences to Damian's family. A brilliant artist, and a great asset to our community. He will be missed.
