Damn I can't win..Another friend has passed..

Today I learned, I lost another friend, two in two weeks..
The man, Bob Petty, who gave me the name HouseHobbit
Died saturday night, His daughter Amber called eary this morning..
I shall be away a couple of Days.. I have another service to do for a dear friend of many years..
Really Bummed..
 
I too am sorry to hear you have lost another friend. I know this has to bring you down. We are with you my friend.

May he RIP and his family and friends consoled.
 
Dealings of this nature are always hard to bare. When one of my close friends passes it always hits home hard.
..Just remember the memories. The good times had, and they will always be close.

I am home today for a short bit, I must prepare a service for Bob..
His daughter Amber has requested I do this..

I once said, when I became a minister, I would not Do Burials or Weddings..
Worked in the Prison Ministry, didn't think it would have came to this..

I am trying to keep a strong face for Amber, Bob's daughter
And His dear Mom and dad..
I will be tied up for a few days, I shall remain Hopeful, and very Prayerful..

Today will be a Hard day, But I will do as I can for Bob's family..

during this proces I am also caring for a friend who had surgery yesterday..
I gress when it rains it pours sometimes..

As always you know that our prayers are with you and the family of your friend in this most trying of times. God Bless you, my friend and may He keep you safe and give you strength while you are doing this for your friends family. As you know Bob is already with God, the service is for them and his memory.

HH, sorry to hear about him, I heard about it posted over on Fakebook by bob, Ghastly Ghoul who did the cable access show. I'm a few miles north of you in NC.

WOW it is a small world..
I too Know Ghastly Ghoul, Bob..
I am getting ready to head to Troy for Bob's viewing today..
I expect there to be alot of folks there..

Bob Petty was known by many and Loved very many souls..
I will always miss my friend, and be indebted to him for his friendship and Love
he always shared with me..
It is a sad day for many in the Jam Band family..
All shall miss Bob's playing and the fun He always brought to the shows..
And the many Grateful Dead shows we did together over the years
will now be a warm memory I shall always carry with me..
God Bless Bob Petty..
I shall always miss him..
