David "Opa" Marshal passed away

Indeed - and it seems he contributed right through to near the end, inasmuch as his last upload was this February.

It is a great shame and he will be greatly missed.

Very sad news to be sure. Although not many of us knew him directly as a close friend, he was still a "good friend" to hundreds of simmers across the world. There weren't many who didn't benefit from his wealth of knowledge and the hobby is better for having had David walk among us. RIP "Opa".:medals::salute::salute:

I stongly appeciated his work for us flightsimmers. It means devotion, time, attention, solving troubles, life, love. Common love for our hobby.
