Yes I tried to do that and thought FSUIPC was the problem. I will eradicate the entry and set it up as a separate aircraft and see if I can get round it that way. Thanks for the reply.
For what it's worth, the key assignment logic uses the default "increment/decrement flaps" events (F8, F7 keys respectively), but keep in mind that the DC-3 does not have detents in its flap system. The keys just work as the lever in the real thing does, basically toggling the appropriate valve to raise/lower the flaps.
