Ahh...maan....why did he modernize the cockpit for, weeeee neeed HD textures fixes and aa whole heap of fixes not modernized cockpit. on the other hand the fixes list is great :p I'd say don't worry about modernizeing the DC-3 just focus on all the fixes, I wish DC-3 would stay "old school" but It looks intresting
 
The modernized cockpit is just an alternative choice, a bonus.The vintage cockpit will still be there, and it will receive all the new "Accusim-style" features.
 
its to bad someone wouldny update the textures and add better 3d gages though.. i realy think thats all the DC-2 needs as well for a update.

i wonder when that guy will be done with that though.
 
Unless you edit the 3D model of the virtual cockpit, you won't be able to add 3D gauges to it.
And the default 2D gauges don't look bad at all, in my opinion. With these repaints made by Hanimichal above, I believe the virtual cockpit of that default DC-3 is really pleasant to see now :)
 
ill have to have a look but its something i have been wanting to do. but we will see becuse i know that there is another new C-47 in the works and that one guy is working on stuff to it as well
 
vc's look good, can anyone tell me if there's a flight model for the default dc3 that doesn't careen all over the sky like a drunken sailor in a moderate breeze? alternately is there any way of importing a flight model from the JF or MAAM so I can use it instead? all this eye candy is good, but I HATE the default flight model.
