Where are AFCADs for default FS9 airports located?

They're buried in the main scenery folder among the thousands of bgl's in the different folders. I believe the ones that are prefixed "AP" are the ones that contain the airport data. The easiest way to tell which file one airport is in is to open the stock airport in AFCAD2 and double-click in an empty space. The properties dialog will pop up which includes the full path of the file involved. Bear in mind that most of the AP bgl's contain data for several airports. Delete one file and you lose a great many airports.

There's a very useful free program called LMViewer. You run it in conjunction with FS9 and it will list all the scenery files associated with any coordinates. You can position your plane at an airport and LMViewer will list the bgl's that contain it. Quite handy. :ernae:
