I've just reinstalled the Defence of Australia campaign, followed by the US52galDT drop tank addon, and get this. Any ideas, please?
 
Looks like the rack is set up in the dp file to drop with the bomb. If they are separate objects in the library it can easily happen. Post the "dp" into this tread.

Does the 500lb bomb look more or less in the right position?. If so, copy the [HARDPOINTS] coordinates of mount.2 to mount.0 and mount.1, and then adjust until everything looks right:

-The first coordinate is left or right, so it should stay 0,0 for a centerline rack,
-The second dictates the height, probably is the one you will have to toy with,
-The third one moves the object forward and backwards.

Unfortunately I don't use this P-40 model in any of my installs, so I can't help you giving you the exact numbers. Maybe someone else does .

You could sub K. Malinowski's P-40E which has more skins available & is a little more up-to-date although Kwagmyre's P-40 still quite nice. There is a, AI RAAF P-40 in the Milne bay campaign that could also be hand edited into the DAF campaign.
