Also , (let me please) recomend to update the panel of the MC202 Folgore , the VC view has no working gauges. This panel was uploaded in my MC202 356 update.

OK, about panels..
Personally, I don´t use the VC when flying missions. I find it impractical to work the hat switch on the Joystick all the time to adjust my views. When using the 2D panel, I can look up, to the sides, wherever, and when I let go of the switch I look forward again immediately.
For this reason I didn´t look into the VC cockpit of the Macchi in the first place.
And with the 2D panels I also have to make a decision what to use. There are quite a few nice ones around that are very much like the real thing, but unfortunately many of these have very small gauges which are difficult to read, which again makes them not very practical for missions.
Also, the view through the gunsight is often obstructed, making it quite difficult to shoot accurately.
For the MC-202 I use the panel that originally came with Corrado´s aircraft, although I use a few different gauges. I have a nice, big attitude indicator and compass to Keep the plane upright when I fly through clouds. The boost gauge is German, I know, but it is the only one I found which gives accurate readings. Ang I have a good view over the nose and though the gunsight, which is very helpful for takeoffs, landings and shooting.
What do you guys think about this? If you like it, I could still add this panel to the package.

It was just a recomendation, for those likes VC views like me. I do not suggest that you include it in your package. It was not a criticism. Only the MC202 should be updated.I personally like to use VC view for combat. It is the obligatory view when a target is fixed or tracked in CFS2.
I use 2 d for real simulations.
Good luck
Mario

Mario, no worries, I just stated how I like to do things.
I copied the VC lines from your panel into mine (it works), and I am posting this panel here.

The attached zip was loast in the previous post, I´ll try again...

Rami, could you please insert the Panel Folder into my campaign package in the library, and also replace the download instructions with the updated version here?

An improvement of the campaign S.M.82

Hi Skylane and Rami,

I noticed the Quai/D'Attomo's S.M.82 Canguro (Kangaroo) conversion included in the campaign pack has a rather simple 2d panel, stock US payloads and lousy, 2-blade prop disc textures.

Among the other projects I am working on, I found the time to create a new set of 3-blade prop disc textures, replace the stock bombs with MVG3d/BloodHawk_23's Italian bombs and adapt a new S.M.82 2d panel created by MVG3d.

The new payloads are 100% historical from the S.M.82 groundcrew maintenance original manual, except that I did not exceed 50% capability. This aircraft Flight Model does not allow more than a 2,000 kg. (4 x 500 kg.) total. With a doubled bomb load this Canguro simply does not take off.

Besides, contrary to the information included in the conversion pack, the Canguro was never deployed as a torpedo bomber, and very rarely used as a regular bomber as well. The S.M.82 primary mission was the same as the C-47 Dakota, that was supply carrying and airborne troops dropping.

The 2d panel comes from a work Manuele Villa and I did last fall for Peperez, who was in the process of converting F.Giuli's FS9 S.M.82 Canguro to CFS2, but was forced to put the conversion on hold following computer problems on his side.

MVG3d's S.M.82 2d panel is strictly historical and many of the new adapted Italian gauges for it, I later on uploaded separately, come from our joint effort on this panel.

The Canguro 2d panel bitmap painted by Manuele is simply gorgeous. I adapted Italian gauges to Quai/D'Attomo's S.M.82 Canguro VC panel, although I anticipate it did not come out that great and almost useless, due to a very strange and difficult gauge mapping.

I'll be uploading the addon Quai/D'Attomo's S.M.82 Canguro pack within this week.

A little preview...

... of the work I did on Quai/D'Attomo's S.M.82.

Please, note the beauty of Manuele Villa's 2d panel bitmap, faithful to the real-life panel in every detail. On the right, a drop of 4 x 500kg GP Italian bombs, showing also the new prop discs.
