Luddite in Training
I've not had too many problems with detail and poly count slowing down my scenery. I thought the Tarmac Boxes at Fallon would hurt, but they really didn't. When I finish, the whole set of these will cost 12 draw calls (at 129K per call) and about a bazillion verticies. We'll see. FSFDT did these along with their (in progress) PHNL, and theirs look ok, but they are limited in both drawcall and vert count doing the whole peninsula.

Yes, I need to scale down the lettering and stars. These are such cool Art Deco period hangars, I couldn't resist. (sorry if you already have these done, Crashaz.)

Where's the rest of it, Jim? ;) Looks like one of those Western movie store front props. :jump:

Seriously, I am in awe of your talent and abilities to design these buildings. You are creating quite a legacy in the Flight Simming world. Thank you!

Geezzzz. Critics. I feel like if you can sell aircraft without VC's I oughta be able to just show hangar fronts...LOL:icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Oh man!! Spot on!!:jump::jump::jump:

I downloaded all your sceneries yesterday and installed them to go have a look around. When it comes to hangar design you sir... are second to none.

I did the walkaround in the sceneries to understand the quality of the work I need to add to my work for redoing all of Oahu lol.

Can't wait to see what you finish with!

Wow.. looks like you made those doors with boolean cuts and stuck in the textures for the smaller window frames.

Well I can scratch Hickam hangars off the list. Hehehe

Really I am honored to have your work around the Pearl area. :applause:

Jeeezzzzzz, some people can't handle any criticism. :icon_lol:

:ernae: Here you go Jim neither of our college football teams are going to the BCS game. We can cry in our beer together. Then I can go back to working on my never ending sim cockpit and you can build the rest of the hanger.
