dh89a Dragon Rapide version 4 released (freeware)

Thank you, it was great surprise to see updated version after so many years! I'd like to ask about ADF - in aircraft.cfg there are two options for ADF antennas, enclosed and open loop that can be added to external model. Is that purely visual aspect, or it also adds ADF indicator and radio to the cockpit?

The ADF loop antennas are visual only, to allow for more accurate Dominie type repaints.

A "proper" Dominie model is planned, but no ETA as yet.

This is one of the coolest planes ever built! Downloading now. Thank you so much for this offering! I have your Auster and love it. Judging from that, this one must be great.

Wanted to say Thankyou to you Dave and the others involved. I've always loved this aircraft, and I'm thankful that you produced it :)

(The G-AIDL livery is my favourite, Often used by the BBC in filming) :D

I may have to download this.. We actually have one where I work on the weekends. I was under the impression it was the only one (never really thought much to look into it, just know it was formerly one of the Royals Dragon Rapide's as it has the crests on the seats).. Is an unusual plane though, but cool to look at. Does look amazing in the screens others have put up!

Float v4 pretty soon...

Well I wish I had some Orbx or other high-res scenery to fly over and I wish I knew why my screenshots are not being saved....

BUT

...this is a real treat of a model and the VC is a really nice place to be: realistic 3D gauges and a beautiful yoke to go with the impressive FDE. I like her a lot Dave, thanks ever so kindly ta for this keeper! :salute: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Who says enthusiast-produced freeware is dead??

edit: good old Hypersnap! Westbound from Duxford this evening: stock FSXA, real-time weather.

Wow, these screenshots are awesome! :applause: Do you want to tell us, which location and addon it is?

Best regards!
