Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Dimus' Locher, in the Real Air Scout- FANTASTIC SCENERY!

Looks like you're missing the detail1.bmp Ulrich, hence the black areas on the grass. Were you able to find it in Scenery\World\Texture\ folder? It needs to be copied into the Locher\Texture\ folder. Otherwise I like a lot the lighting in your screenshot.

Thanks Dimus,
I have reloaded the scenery and the black squares are gone.
But better i will copy the Detail.1bmp file to the Locher/ Texture folder.
Thanks again for this gem.

So I **** and it wasn't apparent what the two bgls zipped inside the scenery folder were for. I apologize if this was mentioned somewhere here already. And thank you very much for this package. :)

This zip file is leftover from beta testing that can be deleted. Apologies for this blunder. I mentioned briefly in the original thread. It does no harm though, just takes up space.

Thank you very much for this excellent scenery, Dimus! This is truly Orbx quality. Great work :applause:

Greetings
Tim
