• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Dino Cattaneo posted bad news on Facebook

Absolutely great news Dino, the Typhoon is the one aircraft that I would most like and if it's made by you then it is sure to be amazing. My only advice would be that you back everything up this time on an external hard drive.

Good to hear your getting back to normal Dino and dont let the trolls get you down.
Like others here I really appreciate the work you do for our enjoyment.

I've been having a lot of fun in the T-45 lately

Actually, Cerber ransomware is currently one of the most active threats spread around the Internet. Unfortunately, its strong 256-bit AES cipher is not decoded yet.

I totally go after Dino’s decision not to pay the ransom. What I know about dealing with ransomware infection is that you should enter the PC into Safe Mode. This step will isolate all files and objects associated with Cerber ransomware. Then you could completely remove Cerber ransomware from your system. Thus, will prevent encryption of other devices connected to the system.

The good news is you may have the chance to recover some of your data. One way you could try is with Shadow Explorer. In some cases the ransomware deletes shadow copies in Windows and this method may not work. Other method is using data recovery software. You could search the net and choose one. I’ve heard that some good alternative are Stellar Phoenix data recovery tool and File recover plus.

My thoughts keepon going after this nasty problem. So I decide to search the net and share somesources of information in order to provide more useful information for all thatcome across this forum topic and are struggling the same problem. In connectionto my previous post, I could add navigation links to places where you could seehow to enter the PC into Safe Mode, how to remove Cerber ransomware and a pageto download ShadowExplorer. The latest news on Cerber ransomware is bad again. Its distribution technique has transformed and now in every 15 seconds theransomware creates a different version of the distributed file to bypass theclient-side security software.
