Disappearing Buildings

Can anyone help me out? The buildings at the airports on my flight sim will disappear if i pan the spot view above the horizon line. If i pan under the horizon line they come back its very frustrating!

This thread suggests that the sliders for scenery density are set too low when that problem occurs:

Other than that I'd suggest reinstalling the video card drivers.
