thanks for the comments. Also thanks for the scenery. I'm also a newby to Dutch flying, bar the Uiver DC2. Not had an aversion toit, just that FS always went south on me before I got my local stuff sorted, I've had bad luck since moving from CFS2 to FS9, start to get things looking good, gremlins, start again - perpetual circle. I've often thought of giving it all up, but, inevitably, I get drawn back in. I do take some breaks to get over the trauma, last crash saw me purchase Assasins Creed for £2 and complete it, quite a game I have to admit. Will consider the following chapters for future FS crashes, lol.

At first glance the D.17 lands allright, but the 16 vanishes before it starts as it has to wait too long. You solved the TNG's. That's a great start. Maybe these planes should fly to De Kooy or Bergen instead of making a circle around the island. And maybe the intervals should be longer.

Jamie,I just bumped the thread to keep it visible for myself. Take your time buddy, it's worth it. Btw, I don't think the simulation rate affects the AI. Set to 4* I get the same results as you had.
Here's a gem on the south west side of the island: the church of Den Hoorn. It's a model from Google Earth. Still trying to get the author's permission to include it.

I had the waiting problem also, I tried a different time of day, initially 5 mins to 1pm, had problem, tried dawn, no problem, but the T-Vs took ages to move. Then tried 5 to 12, everything went fine. The wait is to long sometimes because the planes are quite slow.

I didn't adjust your schedule. But I have had better success with AI if it's going somewhere, most of it anyway with 1 or 2 doing circuits, just so there's something to see all the time. I going to set some up to visit your de Kooy, but it's a tad close, you'd be quicker swimming.

I think I'll add Bill's U-boat lurking off the coast, doing patrols and something to search for in my TV.

What do you think about the dunes? Did you see the lighthouse on the North end of the Island? I placed a church near the south. Still got to get permission to use that one....but no one answers...

finally got to explore, the dunes are great, love them, just one ?. Do they have seasonal textures? Don't know ifit's my choice of textures that makes them a bit different in Winter. Spotted the Lighthouse too, there's another one near De Kooy IIRC. I haven't found the church yet, looking as we speak.
