FORTHE URGENT ATTENTION OF THE ADMNISTRATORS.

Hi all,
I have just recieved 2 emails saying that i have re-uloaded 2 of the many converted models I had done in the past.
To have uploaded these a/c in my name they must have my password,Which only I should know.It is worrying that some one else has now got access to that.The password will now be changed.

I have no problems with these a/c being uploaded,But as in the Hampden this was a joint effort by a lot of people.They should be asked whether they agree to having the a/c uploaded again as well.
I do not know who has uploaded these a/c.All I can say is it was not me.

I sent you a PM a few minutes ago with a short explanation. While this thread has turned into a pretty long one, you can review much of the recent library activity here:

Rami has been giving us a Herculean effort in reorganizing the library into a more logical format and that has required some re-uploads. He has tried to give the original authors credit for their creations and of course the original "readme" files are still with the files as originally uploaded and still give credit where credit is due.

No slights were intended, only the opposite.

Buddha, I uploaded the aircraft you mentioned and Rami did the editing to put it under your name rather than mine. He also is changing the upload dates to conform with your original upload.

All files worth saving in the CFS2 section are being transferred over to the new Warbirds Library by August, as is the case for all the sims, because the Warbirds archive will no longer be supported by the VBulletin software.

So, all files are being transferred over. When users other than myself are uploading these files, I transfer the user name for these files to the original uploader, when possible, and reflect their original date of submission.

You may be getting several of these notices for a while.

Well I am glad that is the reason for the mails.You will always have my blessings to upload all the a/c i converted in the past. Because they are conversions if possible make sure the origional builder is happy with them being uploaded.
I converted several a/c from a certain Japanese gentleman who later said that the models he built were not to be used in CFS2. I think you will know who I mean. Please do not upload his a/c.

Recently, out of the blue, I've received emails from Willy claiming a lot of my uploads were being activated. I'm tickled pink to think my old stuff was worth anything after all the progress that has been made.

HOWEVER in 2009?? I was raided by the "wicked witch of the north" I suspect since the meltown of the files that the "new" files are infected.

As such, download and use any of "my" files AT YOUR OWN RISK, I did not upload them. It was done by an administrator at SOH, not me.

Further, PSK_YMS WAS NEVER UPLOADED HERE, so definately suspect. It was at simviation.

It is freeware, but beware the contents.

I hope no one goes what I've been through over the last few years.

Its not like it used to be here.

Inoted that they are finally acknowledging that your ISP has possibly been raided. please check yours out to be safe.

The files are not being pirated, nor are you being spammed. The VBulliten software will no longer support the Warbirds Archive after August, and so we are in the process of transferring all the files worth saving from the old archive to the new library. I change the names of the user to reflect the original designers of the various downloads, as well as the correct dates. When this happens, the original uploader receives a notification.

This is why you are getting the e-mails. I am not uploading any "secret" files of yours, just preserving what has already been uploaded for posterity.
