Discounts for 'Pensioners'

I'm also delighted. Perhaps, i'll survive that long perhaps i wont. I'm an old soldier, also on disability, and not quite stuck in a chair. But We fought so that Good people Like Francois could make these beautiful offers for others to enjoy, and that service we performed holds as true in civilian life as much as it did so long ago. I never asked for life to be fair, and i will never ask for life to be easy. But its these moments in time and history, and people like Francois who give me the strength to keep going.. If i survive another five years, I'll be proud to take you up on that offer...
Pam

personally i was making a feeble attempt at some humor...i am disabled and on a set income...but in no way was i trying to complain,,,i think what you are doing is great, and i applaud you :applause:,,,love your airplanes...we all need to do what we need to in these times..you build great planes and i save my money to buy them..its pretty simple...LOL.....Dave

Many thanks to all of you, and don't worry, I didn't take anything the wrong way :)

We all have our crosses to bear and I applaud all people who do without complaining. :salute:
For me FS is as much a hobby as it has always been, for more than 30 years already now. I'd LOVE to fly more in real life, or.. gasp.... get some sort of license even, but that's not in the cards.

So I'll try and make this hobby, and since 6 years now my profession, as pleasant and rewarding as possible, for as many people as possible. Nothing great, just commons sense and a passion for aviation and for having some fun in life for the short time we're all here :)

But first, Nina and I will take a week or so vacation, doing some other things..... oh, and in the process meet with some of our new developers in Italy ! I said I was trying to make fun out of this job, didn't I? :icon_lol:

Can't wait to see whats on that list in 16 years for me.....lol. Very nice offer Francios. You the man!

Jim

I am sure there'll be someone else like me in 16 years Jim ;-) and who knows, maybe some of our competitors will follow !

A very nice gesture Francois! I'm sure those on a tight "pensioners" budget will appreciate this.

And for me only 12 more years to go, before I can benefit. And I know 12 years are gone within a blink of your eyes. I can remember the "millennium madness" like it was yesterday. And that is nearly 12 years ago......

Cheers,
Huub

Here in the USA when we need 'quick cash' we have a 'Garage Sale', usually on front lawn, with a sign on telephone pole at nearest 'main' road with a sign pointing at your house. On even a bad day you can make $60 (easy) selling all that 'junk' you have laying around in the garage (or storage shed). You would be surprised what that 'junk' rakes in. That's one way to get moola for sim 'parts'. (But I refuse to sell my (only) suit-I'm keeping THAT..ha!).

Hahaha ! Yes, hang on the the suit !! (I've got a few new ones hanging in the closet. Nina bought them just before I was 'made redundant' by 'corporate America'. Shjeez, Huub, THAT is already 6 years ago too ! Time flies, even when not having fun!

Hmmmm... don't think we'd sell much anymore in garage sales. no takers. We ALL have enough junk I guess. In Holland people try to sell their superfluous junk on ONE particular day.... the Queen's Holiday. Some do really well that day :icon_lol:

If the discount for people who are 65 works, how about setting up one for folks like me...people whose IQ is 65! You could call it the Forrest Gump Discount!

OBIO

:icon_lol::icon_lol:

Hmmmm, asking people to prove they're over 65 might indeed be more difficult than to have them prove they're sorta........ errrrmmm.... stupid ? :icon_lol: But then again, I would like to find myself with a few regular customers remaining as well..... :running:
