The video appeared in the preview view as massive regardless the settings, albeit I unchecked the HD-option in YT.

There's one man with a death wish. I wish him luck, but I have serious doubts it'll even fly, much less land...

Well, Im all for having a big imagination.... BUT.... 800kg....is over 1700 lbs!!!! That is massive for an airplane that size I think... I mean, look when they try to push it... it even looks heavy! I'd sure like to see it's first flight though.... I really wonder if it would lift off at all.....

Wow, and I thought this one was bad enough... :isadizzy:

Good luck to the Kenyan guy, he's gonna need it. The Chinese farmer handled the helo pretty well, I'm sure he scared himself a few times before that vid was made. :d

There are also some Somalian engineers, maybe the Tansanian could team up with them.

The video about the Chinese chopper pilot was kinda cool. The pilot seemed to be pretty confident about himself & the plane.

Can you such small helicopters as build-kits, in the same way as Robinsons?

Oh sure, there are lot of kit helicopters out there, Rotorway for example.
I like the Mosquito line, especially the new turbine version they are working on:

EDIT: I'd rather have one of the new Robinson R66 turbine models...

Don't let the MOD see that. They'll be ordering half a dozen and then cancelling Typhoon.

The story goes on.

They´ve done the first high-speed taxi test.

My dream has been to build my own aircraft, but it's still just a dream. I hope he succeeds if only a few feet off the ground.

Gear collapsed... twice...

Belt driven prop? Yikes!

And what about the detached and wierd flaps, the semi-canards, etc.?

If he does manage to get it off the ground at all, I predict wing folding due to the weak welding.
