Went for a nice little flight this evening near KOSH, then all of a sudden the trees disappear for a few seconds and come back like this.

Same in real life. The last two weeks or so, the trees are noticeably starting to change.

That's pretty neat. Do you remember what ~time it was when the change happened? I'd like to recreate the effect.

I reflew this again, and it happens on Aug. 31, at 7pm local time or 00:00 Zulu near KOSH. First time that the season has changed during a flight.
