Very sad Willy....my condolences.
I have always worn seatbelts, and like a previous post, I feel naked without them. I always wore a helmet when I rode my Harley as well. And I didn't mind poking fun at bikers who didn't. I refer to them as "Organ Donors".
As a retired military guy I've seen what head injuries look like, and what happens to passengers in jeeps when they flip. I've managed to convey this to my children, something of which I'm quite proud.
Safety equipment is safety equipment. It's there for a reason.
