Does anyone have any idea what became of MSFS 2020 City Update X (TBD 9/17)

It's really no big thing, but I am both extremely ADHD and wholly OCD, and it just tees me off when something is shown and then just disappears into the ether without any further explanation.

No idea, but with FS2024 right around the corner with a vast improvement in scenery I would hope they are not wasting any more time on FS2020 scenery.

The developer team originally made a 10 year commitment to continuing updates for MSFS (2020). It wouldn't look too good to renege on that.
I tend to agree, but I am convinced that, with the imminent release of 2024, updates for 2020 are a bit on the backburner now.

Cheers,

Priller

Back burner I can live with. Off the stove, not so much. I plan on keeping 20 for at least a while after I get 24, and that will probably be at least a month after release - maybe after the new year. 20 came out during the pandemic, so I was itching for something to kill the boredom. I jumped in on day two and was about 75% happy with it. This time, I'm waiting for some of the initial reactions and maybe a hot-fix or two.

Oh, I'll probably keep 20 longer than that. And I won't be installing 24 on release day. Those servers are going to get hammered!!

I'll wait, reading what people's experiences are with it here, with some crisps or other snacks and an "adult beverage"! :p

I pre-purchased the Premium Edition, could not see where the extra $$$ for the Aviator's Edition was worthwhile. I don't know if one will get priority downloads with pre-ordering, guess I'll find out. But from what I read, the initial download is not very large at all like 2020, something like 30 GB. Most of everything will be on the Cloud. I'm looking forwards mto it. Doesn't mean I'm giving up on 2020 though, I purchased 32 more GB RAM for a total of 64 GB and also purchased and additional Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB SSD for MSFS 2024.

Already done Priller.
How do you like my lightning bug photo desktop taken in early July?
