My favorite was as Col. Mikhail Fetisov in Citizen X. A very dark but satisfying TV film back when HBO was putting out quality stuff.

I remember him in "The Eagle Has Landed" and "M*A*S*H" as well as the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" with the late Leonard Nimoy and "Space Cowboys" alongside Clint Eastwood.

It seems Canada has given us some great actors: Donald Sutherland, William Shatner, Michael J. Fox, John Candy, Leslie Nielson, Dan Ackroyd, etc, etc.

RIP to a great actor.

I had forgotten about that movie. HBO really did do some good stuff back then.
