Dora and Pfeil and Spitfire campaign...

To all,

Either tomorrow or Thursday I will be uploading my rework of the EFDT "Pfeil" campaign. It has been completely updated with either created or enhanced .dyn files for superior mission playability. In addition, the scenery and object locations (Calais harbor and Antwerp, for example) have been modified to use Sander’s scenery files. [FONT=&quot]Other than that, it’s the usual drill…improved aircraft choices, updated infrastructure, and the use of Achim’s bases, including the new base at Bonn-Hangelar.

This campaign has 42 total missions in 2 separate campaigns, one British and one German.

I am waiting for the Dornier Do-335 to be available in the download queue before I upload the campaign.

Please be aware that this rework would not be possible without the generousity of Ken Stallings and Thomas Wood. (Crashwoody)

Thanks to both of you guys! :friday:

Sounds good Rami...these were always my ETOWF favorites. In fact, the Dora, Pfeil and Spitfire campaigns were the first action i saw in the ETO after installing CFS2. Up to that point all i did was PTO. All of my initial ETO scenery and aircraft addons were based on these campaigns.

Thanks for this Rami. I'd already modded my Pfeil Campaign to use some more frame rate friendly a/c, but this will save me a lot of trouble. I love my ETO Sander scenery.

It was uploaded yesterday, guys. Over 110 downloads so far...:typing:

Looks like fun...Thanks, Rami...getting the dl now! [dl is now at 121 :d] (I should have some time to install and fly this evening, lookin forward to it.)

Cheers,
O

Efufle,

The answer to that is I have many ETO things that are "almost" complete, they just need that one final push to completion.

In case y'all missed it, I also released a seven-pack of missions for the Fw-190 Dora.

I completely forgot this Do-335 Rami. Still a fantastic model! But it deserves some more subtle realistic skin variants. I can see why there are few textures for it around. Tricky to paint, but very interesting!

Morton

(Boy! This Dornier looks good in new clothes.. :d)

Morton,

Be sure to contact Crashwoody for his permission for skins.

There were a lot of skins for this plane (including an Afrika Korps skin) but I don't remember where I downloaded them. If I remember correctly they were for FS9 and had to have their alpha layers maxed out on opacity to convert them for use in CFS2. I know I have them on disc somewhere.
