DoughBree L-39C (FSX)

Well, having the nose wheel react to lateral velocity is intended and good...but not in the air.

Or throw your computer out the window. Or...

OK...just so I don't get all FUBAR.... do I need to open the window first....and what if the computer is too big?

I can see a need for more pages in the ****....;)

With the redownloaded zip....thanks, Bjoern...;)

You don't, if you put enough effort into the throw.
Ah, but there-in lies the problem...
This is a new computer....it's a Thermaltake Level 10 Limited edition....and the case alone weighs 50lb ...and that's without a PSU....so the whole critter weighs as much as a small planet....;)

The F-4 had the aerodynamics of a brick, yet that didn't stop it from going mach 2+. So get a pair of J79s and get it done!

By the way: I always thought your USAF skins on a czech trainer in private hands were a neat, fictituous idea, but there really seem to be people out there who have their L-39s in US military markings...:dizzy:

Why most of these markings are USN is, however, a total mystery to me.

Shall have a go at the Playboy one first...;)

What happens when you plonk that jpg into the paintkit...

Of course....when you have a look at it...the Bunny isn't exactly the Playboy one....ears are different....

That's a bit better...;)
Now if I can work out the pilot/owner names I'll add 'em too...;)
...and whether or not that chevron stripe continues on the underside...can't find a U/S shot as yet.

A potentially colossally stupid question: is there any chance of getting this improved and bug fixed version ported back to FS9?

This one's done...and whilst SOH was offline I've been busy revising my paintkit/graphics... though it's still way to big to upload yet....about 800 meg ...;)
Found all the pilot/owner/ground crew names...;)

Fictituous or - better - punny names are

That's a valid question.

Yes, it's possible to port all this back to FS9 with a bit of effort. Change the formatting of some gauges back to FS9, convert all the textures back into FS9 supported formats and convert the model back into a FS9 compatible format. As with a FS9 -> FSX conversion, however, the latter will take a lot of effort and time. And for that reason, I won't do it. I've after all already (metaphorically) walked from Dallas to Phoenix. Why should I walk back again?
