All I have in the texture paratrooper folder are a thumbnail.jpg, a panel_3.dds and a texture.cfg fallback. Where are the aircraft textures for the paratrooper aircraft?
Thanks, Bob.

In the "texture.EATS_315221" folder.
The texture.cfg file points to that folder.

The two thumnnails look different. Are you saying both textures are the same? Thanks, Bob.
GlobalEnv_AC_Chrome.dds should be in ...\FSX\Texture.
FSX should pick it up regardless of the difference in file extensions.
PADDRAND.bmp is mapped to some polys in the VC that are not visible (not sure why they are even there) so you are not missing anything by not having it.
cheers,

Ok Thanks. I was jut going by both thumbnails which are different. Bob.Yes it's the same aircraft, the only difference is the paratrooper panels has the red and green lights used to stage para drops.
When selecting the paratrooper thumbnail it switches to the paratrooper panel only.

FSX will not report texture errors unless this line has been manually added to the fsx.cfg file.
It is not there by default.

ShowMissingTextureAlert=1
You can disable it by either of these methods.
ShowMissingTextureAlert=0 or
\\ShowMissingTextureAlert=1
or simply delete it, of course.
Odd it was asking for the chrome dds file unless it's search was case sensitive. GlobalEnv_AC_Chrome.dds is a default FSX file. There's no bmp version in either FSX or FS9.
