Douglas DB-7

We really need a Douglas DB-7. There's no native CFS2 or FS2002/4 plane avaiable of the early version used by French and British pilots. In my opinion, they were mor beautiful than the newer version. The British created a lot of interesting mods over it.

Couldn't this be accomplished by Tweaking Tango's A-20 slightly, and perhaps you doing a little aircraft.cfg, .air, and .dp work?

Working on an aircfg file right now it TR and the crew are up for go at it The DB-7 had the Wright R-2600-A5B Eng. & the A-20B cared the Wright R-2600-11 as did most of the "A" mod's.

The noes section was different also between the DB-7 Boston and the A-20B:

Burned

There are three models underway in my FSDS2:

- Glassnose A-20G (50% complete and having poly-conflicty issues.)
- DB-7 (25% complete and needing complex animation on rear gunner.)
- Solidnose B- 25J (80% complete and needs final nose shape and fitting tweak.)

Unfortunately, I am currently experiencing a severe case of SOH/FSDS/CFS2 burnout...a shriveled husk, sucked-dry and cast aside by the sim vampires...Graham Greene, The Burnt-Out Case and all that. Plus, the Spring yard, garden and housework have me firmly in their claws. (Anybody have a spare motor-mount bolt for a 12.5hp Briggs & Stratton on a Murray 42-in?) :isadizzy:

Don't know when I will regain motivation and spare time, so don't count on me for instant results.

Sopwith has (knowing his cunning ways) probably got a complete wardrobe on hand for all of these already.

I liked the look of that guy, but I changed it again to support my team (Bruins) in their quest of Lord Stanley's Cup.

I also had to throw those rascally Canadian rabbits in there, because we trounced them solidly in four games.

Early DB-7

No. They used P&W Twin Wasp engines of only 1,200HP. You can find them here:

French version used four front and two dorsal Darne 7.5mm machine guns.

The British bomber version used them with .303in Browning machine guns:

They used them also as night fighter, modifying the nose to receive a eight .303in Browning machine guns battery:

I actually have a motermount bolt for a Briggs 19 horse mounted on a craftsman but i don't have the slightest idea what other tractors it fits on and this is a twin not a single.probaby won't work.

I located the bolt over at Tractor Supply Co.

As much as I hate to admit it, my trusty lawn tractor is now twelve years old and I fear nearing the end of her useful life....i.e. repairs requiring more effort and cost than just getting a new one.
