Druine Turbulent and Tagazou FsX Native

I found a couple of nice FsX native aircraft on this French site http://frenchvfr.free.fr/download.php?lng=fr You can change the language from French to English by clicking the flag top left corner. There are other aircraft but as I use Dx10, I only wanted the native ones.

These are really slick, and nicely done! Are they fictional planes? Can't find anything about the Tagazou online.

HI Denny,
I think the Tagazou must be but the Turbulent is a real aircraft. I'm surprised there don't seem to be any repaints.

Seems to me that maybe in French "Tagazou" is used as a nickname for any small plane. Anyway I downloaded the Tagazou and it's a neat plane. The 1930's Army Air Corps paint job was a pleasant surprise.

Somehow the registration of the Tagazou came to mind, so I've just been to the CAA website - G-INFO and found out that it used to belong to a Corben Junior Ace that used to live at an airfield in my local area. The builder of the sim model has done his homework nicely as the Ace has just been removed from the register and it thus fills the gap nicely.

Thank you Peter - I just emailed you asking you to do exactly that, then came back in here and saw your post!

OK Guys, I have reworked the textures for FSX and uploaded the three British Turbulents to BritSim and Flightsim. BritSim available now. Flightsim will be available tomorrow! Have fun!

cheers, Pete W

Brilliant, can't thank you enough!!! Off to download now.

Where did y'all find this livery?

Lovely work, Peter, as always. Thank you. I have just taken Sammy for a first flight from (where else?) Redhill.

racartron, sorry for the bad info, I downloaded the FS9 version of the Tagazou and it had the Army Air Corps paint job. Too bad it wasn't included in the FSX version, that's a real nice shade of blue and I like the clever markings.

Peter Watkins has been busy with three new repaints of the Turbulent, up at Britsim:

Thank you for your interest for my models.
"Tagazou" is effectively fictitious. In fact, it is the model which I created to learn the SDK of FsX.
The Fs2004 version is much more detailed. The method of compilation which I finalized allows me to have very fine details and huge number of polygons.
All my plane Fs2004 are compatible FsX and P3D. There is a FsX version only if there is a problem of transparency in the model Fs2004.

Try Nieuport 17 which is here: http://frenchvfr.free.fr/dwnld.php?lng=fr&pg=190

This model contains more than 1,250,000 polygons!
If it behaves very well in Fs2004, even on old computers ( P4), it flies with no problem at all in FsX except the loss of some Fps due to the high number of polygons.

Cheers, Bernard
