Duck & Barrel

Video I created of the Marine Corps Duck and Flying Barrel. During this period, Navy and Marines had some very colorful aircraft.

where did you get the F3F ?

great vid BtW...with people flow it looks extremely realistic!

played back in 1080p it blew me away - please keep making vids like this.

outstanding! I thought it was AH - it looks like they have taken down the freeware files at their site...mentions something about a redo of many of the FS9 models to FSX native.

good news - I would love a native F3F in high quality.

Same here... since it was FS2002 version. This is the same one with excellent FS9 repaints.

Only the vc needs updating.

just occurred to me that you would not likely have the upper wing visible with a Wildcat VC...aside the other differences between the two..

not to remain off topic...anyone who has not viewed the video by TuFun - you must see it - it really is outstanding.

man - now I wish I had d/led the F3F when I had the chance....*sigh*

does anyone know if there is anywhere I can get it now? - nothing illegal mind you...heywoood don't play dirty

Not sure why its not available, even thou it still says free. Link no longer available.

I had dl about a year ago from Aeroplane Heaven, but until the updates, didn't fly it until recently.

yeah..."FSX version available in 2008" lol

If only!

I would have bought it instantly

maybe Baz, or Virtavia, or Golden Age, Or Swingman, or Piglet, or Aeroplane Heaven or somebody will recognize the instant attention such a plane would generate...

I can't hep myself - no modeler me...but I've got dollars and an absolute jones for anything that flies with two wings from the Golden Age of Flight

my apologies again TuFun for the sidetrack - again -- if anyone views this thread without looking at the video TuFun posted please do yourself a favor and check it out - it is outstanding!

I am quite sure that if PM Bazzar nicely, he will either re-post it, or give you a download link.

Craig.

Same here... been checking on them for years, no FSX model even thou its says FSX in the works. To bad... same as you, would bought that in a second.

I also have the updated Gulfhawk II and its a beauty.
what? - is this a different model?

I'm all crossed up now - who made the GulfHawk?

Nigel's 'Murphy's War' sounds uploaded. DUCK!

For the benefit of all you X guys I've uploaded a soundpack for the 'Murphy's War' Grumman Duck for FS2004 but I see no reason why they shouldn't work in FSX. Its about as authentic to the film sounds as I could get. One or two surprises from panel and VC views. Hope ya like 'em!

If the freeware AH F3F can be uploaded again, I encourage all to try her out in FSX as even though a portover if looks and flies superbly. Very light and responsive handling, which is how I like to imagine she was IRL. Trap her on a CV with an approach speed that feels like slow motion. Superb.
