I don't have a problem with that. The moron is lucky he wasn't subjected to more forceful treatment while being subdued, like punched in the throat or strangled with a belt. Airplane passengers and crew aren't real tolerant of nutty in-flight behavior in this post 9/11 world.
I never have been tolerant of nutty behaviour on any form of public transport. Fortunately in Australia we don't seem to have that problem on our aircraft but it is different on our long distance trains and interurban commuter trains. People with iPods plugged into their ears and you can still hear the noise they call music.
But my greatest gripe is, you guessed it, mobile phones. Constant ringing no matter what carriage you are in and the person using it thinks the person on the other end is completely deaf so they are talking at the top of their voice.
